On 10 August 2024, GoGirls hosted a virtual interactive #STEM Chats session with delphine nyaboke, president of the Women in Tech Club CMU-Africa. The conversation revolved around the potential of #AI in Africa, particularly in #STEM fields, and the ethical implications of its development and deployment. During this session, the speaker discussed the intersections of #gender and #technology and the challenges of overcoming African cultural and linguistic barriers. Personal experiences and insights on overcoming challenges to excel in #STEM careers and embracing #AI in this new age across our different #STEM fields were shared.
