The Gender Digital Divide Index (GDDI) is a crucial measure of the inequality between men and women in accessing and utilizing digital technologies, as well as benefiting from their advancements. Our mentorship program targets 30 university students, with a significant emphasis on 12 female students. This marks an impressive increase in the number of women we have enrolled in our #tech program who are part of GDSC University of Juba. Our primary focus is to promote teamwork among students, allowing them to learn from one another and actively collaborate on tech projects. To kick off the #FITP mentorship program, the GoGirls team presented its objectives to the GDSC and adjusted the schedule to align with the students' academic calendars. We listened attentively to their expectations and understood the challenges they face in implementing their projects. #FITP : From Idea To Prototype Project This program is made possible with the support of the Embassy of Canada to South Sudan Photo Credit: Moss Damian
