Currently in Bowen, Queensland. On a journey to re-visit many of the social services that I have established over the years. I'm particularly interested in their growth and sustainability to date. This one (link below) is The Men's Shed. I'm proud to say that, from a pilot of just 8 sheds 20 years ago, the model has grown into a national service supporting more than 1,200 Men’s, Women’s and Community Sheds. Today, the Men's Shed is recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisation.
